Assassin's Creed Rogue

Assassin's Creed Rogue (2014) shows the other side of the war. You play Shay Patrick Cormac, an Irish-American Assassin who turns against the brotherhood and becomes a Templar hunter during the Seven Years' War, in the middle of the 18th century.

The game takes place in New York, the River Valley and the cold North Atlantic. With his ship, the Morrigan, Shay sails between icebergs, boards enemy ships and attacks forts, much like in Black Flag. On land he faces Assassins who hide in bushes and on rooftops, so you must watch out for the hunter yourself.

Shay's story connects Black Flag with Assassin's Creed III: you meet Haytham Kenway and Achilles Davenport, and you see why Shay left the Assassins.
